(ps: i learned how to crochet!)

yay! Um, in case you didn't know, crocheting is wayyy faster than knitting! I'm still learning and getting used to things, but I crocheted my 8" squares (for Knit a Square) in less time than it takes me to knit them. Amazing.

I also had been wanting to try knitting/crocheting with two strands, so I finally gave it a try. FUN! I happened to have the apple green and teal yarns with me, so I put them together. I have to say that at first I thought they looked kinda pukey together. However, the more I crocheted, the more I came to love the color combo. Alex says it looks like old school camo, hehe.

And you know what this means? I'm ready to tackle the granny square. Yes, that's right. I'm excited ^_^ Next week is my goal! Definitely by the end of February I will have crocheted a granny square (or twelve). yayyyyy!

  6. I just learned too! I never would've started had it not been for Style School! I can't wait to be able to crochet something useful! Like a hat or scarf...I am still working on the squares! :)
